Cabin Interior and Amenities
The cabin has three levels, main, upper and lower. See floor plan & amenities list below the photos.

Main Floor - Living Room, Kitchen, Bedroom & Bath

Stairs up to the loft and upper bedroom.

A gate-leg table seats 6 when the leaves are extended. Step out the door and you are on the porch.

The kitchen is equipped with many small appliances including toaster, hand mixer, slow cooker, popcorn popper, electric wok and coffee maker. It is also stocked with a full set of pots and pans, dishes and silverware.

 

 

Cozy living room with fireplace

Fully equipped kitchen has a gas range and dishwasher and there is a gas grill on the porch.

The main floor bedroom has a queen bed.

Across the hall is a full bath.

Upper Level - Loft, Bedroom and Half Bath

At the top of the stairs is a table great for family entertainment. Behind the Futon is a bookcase filled with puzzles, board games and a "read it or trade it" library of paperbacks.

Upper Half Bath

The loft has two comfortable chairs and a full futon with an innerspring mattress. You can sit, nap or open it up for additional sleeping space. There is also a stereo which plays CDs and tapes.

 

The upper bedroom is spacious and can be made up as a "short" king bed or two twin beds. Just let us know your preference. There is extra floor space for kids in sleeping bags.

Lower Level - Family Room, Bonus Room and Utilities

The lower level (basement) has a family room that includes a TV and gas stove. There is a VCR and DVD library of over 100 movies for you to enjoy.

Not in the picture is the air hockey table which is also in this room.

The bonus room has twin beds but does not have an egress window that meets current bedroom codes.

The utility room is equipped with a washer and dryer. They are old but they work.

Additional Amenities

Telephone: We have free local telephone service that extends over a large calling area. Long distance calls can be made with a calling card. Verizon cell phones have service at the cabin.

TV: There is no TV reception in the lower family room. There is a library of over 100 movies and VHS & DVD players. The upper bedroom has a small TV and receives 3 local channels.

Music: A CD player is located in the loft area. Bring your own CD's.

Games & Puzzles: Several games and puzzles are in the loft bookcase.

Reading: We have a "read it or trade it" paperback library in the loft bookcase. If you have started a book but did not finish it, please take it home with you. Feel free to add books to the library.

Linens: We provide all the linens. Just leave towels and sheets where you found them upon arrival.

Outdoor Furniture: A round picnic table and bistro table are located on the porch. Extra camping chairs are in the garage.

Fire Pit: A fire pit is located between the porch and barn. No other outdoor fires are allowed on the premises. Please supervise children at all times. Cooking forks are in the garage.

Utilities: Washer, dryer and utility sink are located on the lower level.
